The European Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 say that you have the right to cancel your order within 2 days of placing (cooling off period) or within 7 days of receipt, this does not apply to items deemed as "made to order" or "special order".(This does not cover international customers)Emails sent to us within the 7 days are accepted as notification even if not answered imedietly by us.
We have a strict returns policy on all our products. In the unlikely event that a fault may be found we request that you email us within 3 days of receiving your order to notify us of the fault. We will happily exchange faulty items like for like, if they are unworn and still in the original packaging and are free from the smell of smoke, perfume or other odour. We will issue you with a returns authorisation number which you should include when sending back your return. Please return the item to us within 7 days of the authorisation by recorded delivery at your own expense. We will bear the cost of the replacement and of delivery.
We do not exchange or refund any items for any other reason than a fault. If we have reason to believe that the goods have been worn or any of the conditions are not met then we reserve the right to return the goods to you at your cost
If an agreement of cancellation of the contact is made due to items lost in post ,we require the items/order to be received back to us within 7 day of receiving it if it is delivered after the refund is given . faliure to do this will result in a claim being made against you for the full cost of the order.If after the refund is given it is found you fraudulently claimed the items as lost when they were not you will be reported to the autorites and charged with fraud.we take this very seriously.
You can cancel an order within 2 days of placement for a full refund. If your order has already been despatched when we receive your cancellation, we reserve the right to deduct the cost of shipping from your refund.
You must keep all tags and labels intact. If they are removed, we cannot accept the returned item.
To return goods after you have received them due care and attention must be taken of them and we must be told via writing (email acceptable) within 4 days of your receipt of order quoting the full order number, problems occurring outside this timescale will not be available/eligible for any form of recompense.
Please keep proof of posting in form of recorded delivery slip.
Unless items are defective, you return them to us at your expense.
For hygiene reasons we reserve the right to refuse returns of adult toys, creams, lubricants, massage oils, lingerie or swimwear.
Made to order or special order items are not available for return.
International return?
We will only accept returns for faulty items. If you wish to return for another reason please email us first, i am sure we can help.
Returning DVDs and Videos
As specifically stated in the EC Distant Selling Regulations, we cannot accept returns of DVDs, videos and audio recordings if you have opened the seal.
Refund of monies paid
The European Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 require us to say that your money will be returned within 30 days of cancellation, and it will be.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
How to return an item.
You must keep all tags and labels intact. If they are removed, we cannot accept the returned item.
Unless items are defective, you return them to us at your expense. We must insist that any return is sent via recorded delivery, we, schoolgirltimes can accept no liability or loss for items not sent in required way.
All paperwork received with the order must be returned, An additional 5% charge may be made for items returned incorrectly.
If an item that has been returned as faulty and is not then the item will be returned to the buyer at their own cost. If an item has been tampered/altered in order to gain an unlawful refund then the item will be returned to the buyer at their own cost.
All returns must be notified in writing (e-mail acceptable) within 4 days of receipt, please email: returns@schoolgirltimes.co.uk and we provide details of where to send the item.
Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
schoolgirltimes reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time.
All orders must be paid for prior to despatch/processing, any order where payment is made by UK cheque or UK postal order must be received within 5 working days of the order being placed or the order will be subject to cancellation and any cheque payment received after order cancelled will be destroyed.
If we notify you that an item is to be returned to you will have to pay return postage costs in order to receive the item back.
If we receive no payment within 28 days of you being notified the we retain the right to dispose of the item locally at our own convenience and discretion. Please ensure that have Spelt our name and Address correctly to avoid delays in delivery.
N.B. Please enure that you have fully checked your size before placing any order, many of our items are MADE TO ORDER cannot be returned for the reason of non-fitment. If you are unsure if your item is made to order please ask before buying.
Backorders
We operate a backordering system for all ranges. When an order is placed we will endeavor to fulfill as much as possible within the shortest period of time. We will order any items not held in stock and send these as soon as they arrive. Customers must opt out if they do not wish their orders to be automatically backordered. Should you wish to opt out please contact customer service.
CONSUMER PROTECTION (DISTANCE SELLING) ACT 2000

We own all rights, descriptions and photos and are not for replication in part or whole anywhere for any reason, by doing so you will be subject to legal prosecution. Our own brand products are not eligible for any form or resale as used product under our name nor as a new item under our or any other name, any item found thus WILL be prosecuted. The use of the name and Company Logos for any unauthorised company/individual or group is also barred and will be subject to prosecution of copyright etc.
The use of our 'schoolgirltimes' branded clothing/goods in promotional material/literature either video or photographic in any form of publication including the internet is under our discretion and will not be undertaken unless permission is obtained first. We retain the right to refuse permission as we see fit to safeguard our companies reputation and prosecute when necessary.
POSTING
ALL Orders - Most orders are normally sent within 7 to 14 working days. However, please allow a maximum of 28 working days for posting after cleared payment received. (unless otherwise stated) due to seasonal demand/location of items some order may take up to 8 weeks posting, for a more accurate delivery time on the product you wish to purchase please email us prior to ordering.
ALL ITEMS unless otherwise requested at time of order or additional postage option paid for on checkout are sent via normal delivery, we cannot accept any responsibility for any item lost/damaged in the post under normal postage method. Items refused at door will not be eligible for any form of refund as this does not form a contract for cancellation.
For PO BOX's (UK) we cannot send any item via recorded delivery and therefore are unable to accept responsibility for it.
For PO BOX's (REST OF THE WORLD) we DO NOT send any item to an overseas post-box address.
Please email us if a post-box is your only method of receiving mail before ordering.

Part orders: If by prior agreement a part order is dispatched, this is done so solely at the customers own risk, sent by standard uk post for which a certificate of postage is obtained (Maybe subject to additional postage costs) By thus agreeing to a part order delivery the customer enters into an agreement where by the remainder of the order is not available for a refund, part or whole, prior to dispatch.
SPECIAL ORDER
We offer many of our made to order products as special order items. I.E. we can make them any size you require (length or waist) our skirt start at 9.5' and from there we charge extra per inch in length.

PROMOTIONS/OFFERS

Items will be wrapped to the best of our ability .We are not responsible for any wrapping being damaged dueing transit.We will charge a maximum of £3 for orders under £50 for the service ,over £50 orders are wrapped for free if asked.This offer is non negotiable.
